Court of Appeals Rejects Prosecutor's Appeal on Kocharian's Property Seizure
The Court of Appeals has concluded the examination of the Prosecutor's appeal against the decision made by Judge Anna Danibekyan regarding the seizure of property and bank accounts belonging to the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, who is charged in the March 1 case.
Judge Arsen Nikoghosyan has just decided to reject the Prosecutor's appeal concerning the seizure of Robert Kocharian's property.
It is noteworthy that the First Instance Court judge, Anna Danibekyan, had ruled on June 7, in response to an appeal by Kocharian's defense, and noted violations of Robert Kocharian's rights regarding the seizure of his property.
However, the Prosecutor's Office deemed the decision concerning Kocharian's property legal and appealed against this ruling.
