Armenia to Construct 150 km Road Connecting to Artsakh: Armen Grigoryan
The Armenian government plans to construct a 150-kilometer road that will connect Armenia to Artsakh by 2020. This was announced by the Secretary of the Armenia Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, in an interview with the ‘Azatutyun’ radio station.
He stated that the appropriate decision has already been made. “A southern route, the road from Kapan to Hadrut is being discussed, and I hope that by the end of the year we will finalize these discussions and will have a roadmap for how we will construct this road,” Grigoryan said.
He added that the road is planned to be built in a short time frame, within 2020, and the financial resources for the construction are available.
