Nikol Pashinyan Holds Phone Conversation with Lukashenko: Details
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has had a phone conversation with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. During the call, they discussed cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, particularly regarding the upcoming EEU summit scheduled to take place in Yerevan on October 1st this year.
In this context, several issues related to the expansion of the EEU's external relations were also touched upon, including the prospects for signing a free trade agreement between the EEU and Singapore.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on the successful hosting of the European Games and happily noted the participation of Armenian athletes in those competitions.
The Prime Minister also extended his congratulations on the occasion of Belarus' national holiday and sent best wishes to the friendly Belarusian people.
