Two Judges Handling Robert Kocharyan's Case Request Security from Authorities
Judges David Grigoryan of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction and Armen Danielyan of the Court of Appeals have reached out to the Main Department of the Police for the fight against organized crime to ensure their safety. The police are currently providing security for them. This information was also confirmed by the police to Iravaban.net.
Recall that on May 18, Judge David Grigoryan approved the defense's motion to change the preventive measure imposed on the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, which included his release from detention.
Currently, the case involving Robert Kocharyan, Seyran Ohanyan, Yuri Khachaturov, and Armen Gevorgyan is under the purview of Judge Armen Danielyan, who is examining the prosecution's appeal against the May 18 decision of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction concerning the modification of the preventive measure imposed on Robert Kocharyan and the May 20 decision to suspend the criminal proceedings and appeal to the Constitutional Court. The judge has now left for the consultation room.
