Car Accident in Shahumyan Village Leaves Vehicle in Drain, Injured Reported
On June 17, a major car accident occurred in the Ararat region. According to Shamshyan.com, around 11:00 PM, a 45-year-old resident of Armavir, Karen Khachatryan, was driving a Mercedes Benz Sprinter with license plate 837 AD 61 on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, when he lost control in the administrative territory of Shahumyan village, veered into the opposite lane, collided with a metal guardrail, and ended up overturned in a drain.
K. Khachatryan was assisted by citizens and was extricated from the vehicle before being transported to the Artashat Medical Center.
