New Authorities See Weakening of Hayrapetyan's Positions and Strengthening of Sukiasyan's
The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: Recently, it became known through a statement by "Hayekonombank" that the bank has opened a branch in the Avan administrative district.
"Hayekonombank" has over 25 years of history but had no presence in Avan. The reason was the strained relations between the bank's owner Khachatur Sukiasyan and Ruben Hayrapetyan. Essentially, Hayrapetyan was preventing Sukiasyan from operating in his controlled territory.
Under the new government, Hayrapetyan's positions have weakened, while Sukiasyan's have, conversely, strengthened, allowing the latter to operate in Avan.
