During the discussion on the draft "On the Structure and Activities of the Government", Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the "Enlightened Armenia" faction, spoke and reiterated that they are against this government structure.

"I heard a speech regarding decentralization that the promises of 'My Step' are being fulfilled and decentralization is taking place, while we are talking about super ministries here. I am surprised, dear colleague, that you say such a thing, there is a centralization occurring, there is no decentralization happening," he said.
