Armen Sarkissian Meets with Families of Fallen Pilots

President Armen Sarkissian today met with the families of pilots who lost their lives during the Artsakh Liberation War.

Recognizing the heroism of the pilots who dedicated their lives for their homeland, the president expressed his respect and gratitude to the families of the fallen pilots. “Serving the homeland and dying for it is a high human virtue, but being the widow of a hero and continuing to live with dignity afterwards is another form of heroism,” said President Armen Sarkissian. The participants of the meeting presented their pressing questions and concerns to the President. Sarkissian deemed it important and necessary to address the issues of the families of fallen pilots and, more broadly, the families of those who lost their lives in the Artsakh War, emphasizing a consistent approach to these concerns.
