State Oversight Service Employee Arrested in Corruption Case Released
Today, Samvel Adyan, the head of the procurement supervision department of the State Oversight Service, was released from custody in connection with the case of dialysis equipment tenders. This news was confirmed by his brother, David Adyan.
It is recalled that the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction rejected the National Security Service's request to extend Samvel Adyan's detention for another two months.
Samvel Adyan, chief specialist of the procurement supervision department Gevorg Khachatryan, and accountant Taron Avetisyan from the 'Zorashen' LLC were arrested on February 28.
It should be noted that the head of the State Oversight Service, David Sanasaryan, was also involved as a defendant in the dialysis criminal case last week for abuse of official powers. A measure of restraint has been chosen for him, prohibiting his departure from the country.
