Iranian Authorities to Impose Ban on Cement Exports in Coming Days

According to assurances from individuals involved in the construction business, following the floods in Iran, the local authorities have prohibited the export of metal rebar. The same source indicates that a ban on cement will also be imposed in the coming days, as it will be needed for the reconstruction of affected areas.

Therefore, the authorities and parliamentarians in Armenia are futilely debating whether to ban the import of Iranian cement or not, as the Iranians will resolve this issue themselves,” the newspaper writes.
