Major Accident on Komitas Avenue: Injuries Reported
On April 7, at 21:45, the "911" service received a call reporting a traffic accident at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street in Yerevan, where two cars collided, resulting in injuries. Rescue assistance was needed. This information was obtained from the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a "Mazda" and a "Toyota Camry" had collided near house number 21/2 on Komitas Avenue, causing the "Toyota Camry" to crash into a nearby vending machine (coffee machine).
Rescuers extracted the passenger from the "Toyota Camry" and brought them to an ambulance; the injured individual was hospitalized at the Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery.
Both drivers of the cars involved were also hospitalized at the Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery.
The firefighters and rescuers deactivated the vehicles and closed the gas cylinder valves.
