New Price Hikes in New Armenia: 'Pasts'
'Pasts' newspaper reports that recently there has been a noticeable increase in the prices of certain goods, including in the sausage market. In particular, the meat products of the 'Bacon' company have increased in price. According to information from 'Pasts', however, this price hike is not due to the rise in the cost of raw materials, production costs, and so on, but rather a strategy aimed at motivating retailers.
In essence, wholesale delivery prices have remained the same, while those for retail sales have increased. The 'increased' portion of the price entirely remains with the retailers (apart from the available percentage), so that they are more incentivized to sell the meat products of this specific company at the expense of consumers.
