Snowfall and Fog in Several Regions
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia has reported that as of March 29, at 09:30, snowfall is occurring on the highways of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Tumanyan, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Sisian, and Goris.
According to the ministry's press service, there is dense fog on the highways of Goris and Sisian, with visibility reduced to 20-30 meters.
The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for passenger vehicles, and it is closed for heavy and towed vehicles.
The Dilijan mountain passes are closed for heavy and towed vehicles. All other republican and inter-republican highways are open. Road construction teams are working on cleaning the roads and treating them with salt and sand.
