Closed and impassable roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of March 28 at 09:00, there are closed and impassable roads within the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks, while it is difficult to navigate for passenger vehicles.
The Sotk-Karvachar road and the inter-community roads of Dzoragukh and Ttujur villages in Aragatsotn Province are impassable.
There is black ice on the roads in the Aragats region of Aragatsotn Province.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
Regarding Lars
According to information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepanatsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles.
Construction works are ongoing
From June 30, 2018, until March 28 this year, construction works are being carried out on the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri road, resulting in a section of about 200 meters being closed to one lane.
