Statue of Legendary Spies to be Erected by Decision of NSS Director: Open Competition

Director of the National Security Service (NSS) Artur Vanetsyan has proposed the creation of a monument to the legendary Soviet spies Gevorg and Gohar Vardanyan. The authenticity of the news has been confirmed to Armdaily.am by Samson Galstyan, head of the NSS Information Relations Department. He noted that the Urban Development Committee of Armenia announced an open competition for the creation of the monument starting from January 3, with submissions due by May 15.

A monetary prize of 2,900,000 AMD will be awarded.
