Aparantsi Pavlik Hints at Use of Weapons: The Biggest Mistake of the Authorities

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" writes: "The biggest mistake of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's government has been, and will remain, the political decision to release members of the 'Sasna Tsrer' armed group. At least, Pavlik Manukyan, one of the leaders of this group, proves this at every turn. This is not just about his ungrateful and forgetful behavior; in his last interview, while talking about his release, he said, 'I don't care about such justice and changing our measure of restraint, granting 'humiliating' pardons; I don't need a pardon; my rebellion was justified.'

The issue here is much more serious. Criticizing the authorities, Manukyan stated that he is ready to rebel again in case of danger, not ruling out the option of taking up arms again. 'I'm not saying it's mandatory, but if necessary... the previous government was applying state terror. If the same thing happens, of course, I will rebel; I'm doing it for my people, right?'

Furthermore, he declared, 'They have turned everything into Augean stables. The faces of the governing group have merely changed.' And the author of these words is a man who, during Serzh Sargsyan's rule, could not have even imagined in his wildest dreams that he and, in general, members of the armed group would be released. They faced life imprisonment; the previous government had made a decision, but the Velvet Revolution hindered its implementation.

Today, Pavlik Manukyan and his associates are free, and this is exclusively the result of the Velvet Revolution led by Pashinyan, thanks to the political will of Pashinyan himself. The same Pashinyan, about whom Pavlik said during the takeover of the police regiment, 'Don't listen to Nikol, I said, get the trash can, throw Nikol in it. Give something to his head so he doesn't show his face.'

He was easily forgiven by N. Pashinyan for these words. As you can see, it was very much in vain. Aparantsi Pavlik continues to hint at the use of weapons.
