Snow, Black Ice, Impassable Roads: Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that as of December 27 at 08:30, the roads in Armenia are mainly passable.
However, the inter-community roads of Ashotsk are impassable.
On the Alagyaz-Tsilkar road, there are patches of black ice present.
In the city of Gyumri, the villages of Ashotsk, Amasia, and Akhuryan in Shirak province, as well as in Aparan of Aragatsotn province, and in Spitak and Stepanavan of Lori province, there are snow showers.
Drivers are advised to travel in the regions exclusively with winter tires.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
Information received from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of North Ossetia indicates that there are accumulated vehicles on the Russian side.
