Road Conditions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that as of December 27 at 19:00, the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed.

In Shirak region and on the Alagyaz-Tsghukar and Lanjik-Mastara roads, there are places with black ice.

In the Saravan-'Zanger' section, in Dilijan of Tavush region, in Jermuk of Vayots Dzor region, in Spitak and Stepanavan of Lori region, and in the area known as 'Meghry mountain' in Syunik region, there are snowfalls.

There is fog in Syunik region.

Drivers are advised to travel in the regions only with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.

According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation's North Ossetia region, there are piled-up vehicles on the Russian side.
