Shots Fired in Yerevan: Injuries Reported
A criminal case has been initiated in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee regarding the illegal possession of firearms and attempted murder.
According to the information department of the Investigative Committee, preliminary data indicates that gunshots were fired last night in the yard of one of the buildings on Zakaria Kanakertsi Street in Yerevan, resulting in two individuals sustaining gunshot wounds.
Immediately following the incident, a resident born in 1981 was transferred to the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center with a gunshot wound, while a man born in 1984 was taken to the Mikayelyan Institute of Surgery.
The investigation is ongoing, with measures being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to identify the persons allegedly involved in the crime.
