Storm Upsets Aircraft at Airport in Italy
A powerful storm in Forli, Italy, has resulted in strong winds overturning small-sized aircraft at the local airport. The incident occurred amidst a severe storm that struck the Emilia-Romagna region. Wind speeds in the Forli area reached 110 km/h, with reports indicating gusts at the airport reaching up to 120 km/h.
A total of three planes were displaced due to the strong winds, including one that was in the process of landing at the time. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to ensure the safety of the aircraft. The airport in Forli was temporarily closed for about an hour due to unsafe weather conditions. The storm also knocked down numerous trees, damaged vehicles, and caused power outages in the area.
