The Victim's Image Is Never Mine: Martun Grigoryan from Prison
Former MP Martun Grigoryan has made a statement from the 'Armar' penitentiary.
"Today marks the 10th day since I have been unlawfully deprived of my freedom. I do not want to speak about being imprisoned, because the image of a victim is never mine. But these days have once again shown me how important it is to maintain human dignity, tranquility, and faith in one’s values. Let people assess my life and work based on my years of effort, my actions, and my attitude towards Gyumri. I will return and continue my path with the same calmness, the same dignity, and the same faith. Today is also the day of our country’s Declaration of Independence, a day very important for state-minded figures; our country’s independence is an absolute value. I am grateful to all those who have shown interest in me during these ten days," he stated.
Time puts many things in their place. And I believe that in the end, the most important thing is the person, his work, and the mark he has left in people's lives.
