Air Pollution Exceeds Permissible Limits in Several Administrative Districts of Yerevan
The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center has reported on the air quality in Yerevan from August 5-11.
The concentration of dust has exceeded the permissible limit in the following areas:
- Center - throughout the week
- Arabkir - throughout the week
- Shengavit - on August 5-6 and 9
- Nor Nork - on August 5
The concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded permissible limits in:
- Center - on August 5-6 and 8-9
- Nor Nork - nearly the entire week
In Arabkir and Shengavit, nitrogen dioxide levels did not exceed permissible limits.
The concentration of sulfur dioxide did not exceed the permissible limits.
