Weather Forecast for September 1

On September 1, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in various regions of the republic. In some areas, the rain may be heavy, and hail is also possible.

In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are anticipated overnight and in the afternoon.

From September 2-5, predominantly dry weather is expected in the capital.

Winds will strengthen during thunderstorms and in the evening hours. Wind speeds in Yerevan could reach 18-23 m/s, while in some regions of the republic, they may reach 20-25 m/s.

On September 1-2, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible again in some areas during the night and afternoon, as well as on September 4-5 in the afternoon.

At the same time, the air temperature will rise over the coming days. From September 2-5, daytime temperatures will gradually rise by 4-5 degrees, and in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik, by 5-7 degrees.

The wind will be from the southeast and east at a speed of 4-7 m/s.
