Temperature Will Rise: High Fire Hazard Forecasted
From August 5-9, a high fire hazard situation is expected in the Ararat Plain and the pre-mountain areas of Yerevan, Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor, as well as in the valley regions of Syunik.
In Yerevan, there will be precipitation-free weather expected from August 5-9. In the evenings of this period, wind gusts are anticipated to strengthen to 12-15 m/s.
Throughout the republic, from August 5-8, dry weather is expected. On the evening of August 9, brief rain and thunderstorms may occur in separate regions.
The wind will blow from the southeast and east at 2-5 m/s. Additionally, in Armavir Province, the lowlands of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and certain areas of Shirak will experience wind gusts of 15-18 m/s in the evenings of August 5-9.
The air temperature is not expected to change significantly.
