Investigation into 'Armenia' Alliance Candidate Concludes
The investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Special Investigative Committee of Armenia has found substantial evidence concerning the activities of H.D., a candidate nominated by the 'Armenia' alliance, and H.S., the head of one of its headquarters. During the months of April and May 2026, both individuals allegedly sought to materially entice S.M. to participate in the alliance's gatherings, promising to pay him 150,000 AMD under the guise of employment.
During the investigation, the supervising prosecutor decided to initiate public criminal prosecution against H.S. and H.D. under Part 2 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code (materially enticing someone to participate in a gathering). The criminal case has been forwarded to the supervising prosecutor with an accusatory conclusion.
Notice: An individual accused of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedure established by the Criminal Procedure Code, confirmed by a legally binding court judgment.
