Video: The Ball is Not in Our Court - Rubinyan on Opening Armenia-Turkey Border
Several steps have already been taken in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey. This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, during a parliamentary briefing.
“The largest agreement is to open the border for citizens of third countries and holders of diplomatic passports, and we have done our part regarding this, specifically the restoration of the checkpoint. The good news is that on the Turkish side, work has finally begun this year on the restoration of the checkpoint, and we are waiting for the implementation of the agreement. In this regard, the ball is not in our court,” he said.
