VIDEO. I Don’t Deal with Soldiers' Swimming Issues: Deputy Minister of Defense
“I do not officially deal with the issue of soldiers swimming; I am not aware of when any soldier swims. I don’t know what the discussion is about, but we do not have any soldier who hasn’t swum,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, responding to the question of why soldiers swim only once a week.
It’s worth reminding that earlier, MP Hayk Sargsyan from the ruling party stated, “In many countries, soldiers swim every day. In Armenia, some African countries, and in several poorly developed countries, they swim only once a week.”
