“Hayk Sargsyan loves to stretch his imagination,” responded Andranik Kocharyan, chairman of the National Assembly’s Defense and Security Committee, to the statements made by the ruling party MP Hayk Sargsyan.

It is noteworthy that Hayk Sargsyan had claimed that Andranik Kocharyan had thwarted an important legislative proposal for the state regarding the “Release from Military Service for Money” due to his own ambitions.

“What was crucial for the state, to be released from the army for money?” Kocharyan responded, noting that his opposition to the proposal is quite natural and that Sargsyan’s arguments and numerical data are disputable. “In the last two years, the number of conscripts has been increasing,” Kocharyan stated.

Recall that Hayk Sargsyan, in a conversation with journalists, had accused Andranik Kocharyan, saying, “It is unacceptable that he thwarted a legislative proposal important for the state due to his own ambitions. If I have the opportunity now, I might even cry.”
