Iran's Red Crescent Issues Statement
In recent days, over 3,000 homes and 500 commercial centers have been damaged in Iran due to attacks from the US and Israel, with the capital city of Tehran being the most affected. This was reported by CNN, citing a statement from Iran's Red Crescent Society. Additionally, 14 medical and pharmaceutical centers have also sustained damage.
“Most of the targets of the attacks have been densely populated areas,” the Red Crescent reported. Among the damaged buildings are Tehran's markets, Mehrabad Airport, and Azadi Stadium. Five Red Crescent staff members have been injured.
Earlier, Iran reported that the death toll from American-Israeli strikes in the country has exceeded 1,200. Israel and the US have initiated operations against Iran since February 28, declaring that the aim of the military campaign is to deprive Iran of its missile program and the potential to develop nuclear weapons. Iran has retaliated with strikes against Israel, as well as American forces stationed in regional countries.
