The Catholicos of All Armenians sent a condolence telegram to the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on March 2, regarding the casualties recorded among the country’s leadership and citizens. This was reported by the Iranian Embassy in Yerevan.
"We watch with deep concern the military operations that claim human lives and disrupt the security of the region, resulting in losses among the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, high-ranking officials, and innocent citizens," the telegram stated, according to the embassy.
"We extend our condolences to Your Excellency and offer our prayerful support to the families of the deceased, wishing the friendly people of Iran a peaceful and secure life," the telegram added.
