We Have Assessed Our Chances: Mamijanyan on Participation in Elections

We have assessed our chances and are confident that, if we participate in the elections, the percentage we collect will be passing. This was stated by Hayk Mamijanyan, a member of the executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia and a member of the National Assembly, during a press briefing.

It should be noted that the Republican Party of Armenia has announced that its next, 18th congress will take place on April 4 of this year, during which they will declare whether or not to participate in the elections.

Earlier, Alen Simonyan made a similar statement: “Robert Kocharyan should be able to lead the ‘Armenia’ faction. Let him not speak about leadership. He has other things to worry about: whether he will pass the threshold with the Dashnaktsutyun party in the next parliamentary elections and will end up in the parliament or whether all the opposition resources available in the field will go to other parties.”
