Trump: Ground Troops May Be Deployed to Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of deploying American ground troops to Iran, stating that such a decision could be made if necessary. He made this remark during an interview with The New York Post.
According to Trump, he has no qualms about sending troops and does not intend to preemptively rule out such a scenario. He emphasized that previous leaders often declared that ground forces would not be used, but he will not use such phrasing, highlighting that everything will depend on the situation.
He claimed that actions are progressing faster than expected, noting that within just one day, 49 high-ranking Iranian leaders had been eliminated, a result he insists would have typically taken at least four weeks to achieve.
