Veolia Water's Clarification on 17-Hour Water Supply Schedule

In recent days, in response to reports and inquiries regarding the water supply schedule published by Veolia Water for 2026, the company informs that, according to the decision No. 378-N of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia dated November 30, 2016, Veolia Water LLC publishes the water supply schedule for the next year on its official website (veolia.am). This schedule is designed to allow subscribers to familiarize themselves with their individual water supply timetable.

The published water supply schedule is subject to change throughout the year, primarily during the summer months, due to an increase in the number of new consumers, changes in weather conditions, technical capabilities of the water supply system, a 24% reduction in the flow of water sources, and a sharp increase in the number of new water consumers resulting from construction activities. The changes in the water supply schedule also aim to prevent water losses during night hours, thereby ensuring regular water supply for consumers during the day.

According to the agreement with the Armenian government's Water Committee, there are plans to continue implementing additional investment capital programs with an increased volume, which will help reduce physical losses and, in the coming years, increase the volume of water supplied to subscribers in Yerevan. Until the completion of the investment programs, the company is obligated to announce seasonal fluctuations in water supply schedules at least twice a year, which has been carried out in November 2025 and February 2026.

It is noteworthy that regarding the water supply schedules for subscribers, there have been no violations of contractual obligations since the beginning of the lease agreement. Previously, we informed that a 17-hour water supply regime will operate in Yerevan and the regions.
