Heavy Snowfall and Visibility Issues Lead to Temporary Road Closures
As of 17:00 on February 14, all interstate and national significance roads in the Republic of Armenia are open. Organizations responsible for road maintenance continue to carry out snow removal and salt-sand treatment operations, as reported by the Road Department.
Due to adverse weather conditions, heavy snowfall, and poor visibility, roads are being temporarily closed for safety reasons. The Vardenyats Pass is closed to all types of vehicles due to the intense snowfall and lack of visibility.
