Everyone Will Return: Alen Simonyan on Armenian Prisoners Held in Baku
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, is confident that the Armenian prisoners held in Baku will return, although he does not specify when. "Just as there were people reaching a number of 200 who were on the list of those not returning, we were able to achieve their return through our efforts. This work will not cease until the last Armenian returns to Armenia. Everyone will return; not today, not tomorrow... everyone will return," Simonyan told reporters.
He stated that the negotiation process with Azerbaijan provides an opportunity to move towards peace. It is noteworthy that the President of Azerbaijan had previously declared that it is 'impossible to grant pardon' to the military-political leadership of Artsakh.
