Ilham Aliyev and Jay D. Vence Sign Strategic Partnership Charter in Baku
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vence have signed the Strategic Partnership Charter in Baku. Aliyev stated that relations between the U.S. and Azerbaijan are entering a completely new phase.
The Azerbaijani President expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for his contributions to peace in the South Caucasus, adding that Armenia and Azerbaijan have been living in peaceful conditions for six months and have started trading.
Vence also indicated that the U.S. President aims to closely cooperate with Azerbaijan.
It is noteworthy that the Armenia-U.S. Strategic Partnership Charter was signed on January 14, 2025.
