Ukraine to Receive New Combat Aircraft, Says Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced that the country will soon be equipped with new combat aircraft as part of already secured agreements.

According to Zelensky, Kyiv has established agreements for the supply of between 50 and 100 Gripen fighter jets and around 100 Rafale combat aircraft. “In our opinion, these are the best aircraft in the world,” stated Zelensky.

He emphasized that the Ukrainian Air Force's arsenal already includes American F-16 fighter jets. Additionally, the president noted that the total number of new aircraft expected is around 250, which will enhance Ukraine's aviation capabilities.
