Trump's Stark Statement Regarding Iran: There Will Be No Negotiations
The Washington administration is not interested in holding consultations and meetings with the Iranian authorities. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump while responding to reporters' questions at the White House.
"We don’t want to talk to them. We are not looking for meetings or anything like that," the American leader said.
"The Strait of Hormuz is open," Trump added.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany had previously announced that the Washington administration is not negotiating with Iran to end the conflict. She added that there will be no consultations until Trump deems Iran ready for serious discussions on the issues at hand.
