TRIPP Implementation Statement Has No Legal Force: Rustamyan
Recent events surrounding Venezuela, Greenland, and Gaza indicate a shift in global procedures. This was stated by Armen Rustamyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly's 'Hayastan' faction, during a conversation with journalists.
“Peace is, of course, a value, but real, sustainable peace must be achieved by considering the legitimate demands of the parties involved. However, we cannot discuss our legitimate demands here, nor can we talk about the recognition of rights,” he said.
According to Rustamyan, the statement signed regarding the implementation of TRIPP has no legal force: “The first paragraph speaks for itself about the value of this document. And the first paragraph states that this is a document without legal force.”
Rustamyan emphasized that Armenia is not a subject in the negotiations but rather an object.
