Iranian Protest Action in Yerevan: Several Detained

Today, a protest action was held near the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan. According to reports from "Azatutyun," the situation escalated after participants attempted to march towards the Blue Mosque.

A significant number of police forces in the area prohibited the march. Despite the protesters' assurances that the action would remain peaceful and that they would walk exclusively on the sidewalks without disrupting traffic, law enforcement did not allow them to proceed.

During the attempted march, several participants were detained by the police. Currently, the area adjacent to the embassy remains under control.
