Pashinyan’s Appeals to Citizens Constitute an Attempt at Division, Says Father Esai
Pashinyan’s appeals to citizens constitute an attempt at division, according to Father Esai.
“Disregarding the name of the Catholicos is against canonical norms, and interference in liturgical ceremonies by the authorities is a crime,” he stated.
It should be recalled that a few days ago, the Prime Minister announced the formation of a Coordinating Council, which is tasked with the organizational functions of reforming the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. Its composition may be expanded with the unanimous consent of the Coordinating Council.
The head of state has called on the people and clergy to join the agenda for the reform of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
