Ishkhan Saghatelyan and His Relatives Summoned to Prosecutor's Office
The representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Supreme Body and member of the 'Armenia' parliamentary faction, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, along with his wife, Liana Khachatryan, his father, Vachik Saghatelyan, head of the 'Narvest' agricultural cooperative executive body Nairi Vachiki Saghatelyan, and several relatives have been summoned to the Asset Recovery Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
Notices have been published on the 'Azdarar' website today, with a specified appearance date of December 27. The notice states, 'Guided by Articles 16 and 17 of the Law on the Confiscation of Illegally Obtained Assets, I hereby inform you that an investigation is being conducted at the Asset Recovery Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia regarding assets belonging to you, and a preliminary summary of the investigation results has been prepared. You have the right to present yourself to the Asset Recovery Department of the Prosecutor General's Office (50 Tigran Mets Avenue, Yerevan) within one month of receiving this notice to review materials collected as a result of the investigation and to present your position regarding the information obtained.'
