Dust Concentration Exceeded in Yerevan's Kentron, Arabkir, and Nor Nork
The Ministry of Environment reports that according to data from five stationary monitoring stations in Yerevan, the permissible concentration limits for dust in the atmosphere were exceeded in the Kentron administrative district on December 13 and 14 by 1.7 and 4.9 times, respectively. On December 14, the readings in Shengavit showed an exceedance of 1.8 times, while in Arabkir and Nor Nork, the exceedance was recorded at 1.9 times.
Additionally, the permissible concentration of nitrogen dioxide was exceeded in the Arabkir administrative district on December 13, by 1.8 times. In the Kentron, Nor Nork, and Shengavit districts, no exceedances were noted.
On December 13 and 14 of 2025, the concentrations of sulfur dioxide and ground-level ozone did not exceed permissible limits.
