Surens Papikyan: I Don't Think There Can Be Concerns About Tensions at the Border Right Now
The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, speaking at a press conference regarding potential border tensions ahead of the New Year, emphasized that there are no concerns. 'The situation at the border is very calm.'
‘I don't think there can be any concerns about tensions at the border right now,' said Suren Papikyan, adding that during the holiday season, naturally, the service is more vigilant.
'However, considering the weather conditions – the wind, the blizzards – the army has other concerns today, and we are focused on our everyday issues,' the defense minister stressed.
