Microsoft to Invest $17.5 Billion in India
India is entering a rapidly developing phase of artificial intelligence. Microsoft has announced a $17.5 billion investment planned for the years 2026-2029, which will be allocated towards expanding the country's cloud and AI infrastructure, skill development, and ongoing operations.
This adds to the previously announced $3 billion program in 2025, which is expected to be fully invested by the end of 2026.
