One Condition for Peace in Ukraine is the Elimination of Discrimination Against the Russian Language, Zakharova
The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, believes that one of the important conditions for achieving peace in Ukraine is the elimination of "discriminatory approaches" towards the Russian language. According to her, decisions made in Kyiv that restrict the linguistic rights of Russian-speaking citizens contradict the logic of the peace process.
Zakharova assessed that such a policy proves that the Ukrainian authorities lack the willingness for political and diplomatic solutions. "Ukraine's actions show that there is no real movement towards peace," she noted.
