Court Rejects Appeal for Release from Custody for Vardan Ghukasian
The Court of Appeals for Anti-Corruption has rejected the special appeal for the release of Vardan Ghukasian, the Mayor of Gyumri, from custody. This was reported by his lawyer, Aramayis Hayrapetyan.
The defense presented a 21-page document detailing justifications and evidence regarding Ghukasian's detention conditions and health status.
It is noteworthy that Vardan Ghukasian was arrested and detained on charges of receiving and giving bribes.
