Georgian Interior Minister Visits Crash Site of Turkish Aircraft
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Gela Geladze, has visited the crash site of a Turkish military aircraft, according to Georgian media reports. It is noted that rescue and investigative operations are currently underway.
Prior to his visit, Geladze had a phone conversation with his Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts, who expressed their willingness to assist Georgia.
According to the latest information, there were 20 people on board the Turkish military cargo plane that crashed near the Georgian-Azerbaijani border.
