Cyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on Yerevan-Eraskh Highway
On August 25, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Ararat province. Around 12:50 PM, the driver of an unidentified vehicle struck a cyclist on the 39 km stretch of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, leaving the victim helpless and fleeing the scene. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
The cyclist, who was riding at the time, was thrown off the roadway into a ditch and died on the spot.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 242, Part 2, and Article 244, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
