Kocharian Claims the Most Peaceful Years for Armenia Occurred During His Presidency
Armenia did everything possible to ensure the withdrawal of Russian troops from Nagorno-Karabakh, stated Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharian in an interview with Channel 5. He noted, “The loss of Karabakh is simply a consequence of the declaration signed in Prague. Where is Macron? Where is Charles Michel? Who remembers them now?”
Kocharian added that in international relations, there is no such thing as Russia always bearing responsibility for Karabakh. He also highlighted that the most peaceful years for Armenia occurred during his presidency. “We had the fewest casualties, we did not have any territorial losses, and we had economic successes,” emphasized Robert Kocharian.
